One Sunday morning as I was driving with my five-year-old daughter to church, she asked me if her mother and father were going to die. She also asked if she too was going to die. This totally stunned me. I floundered a bit and I told her as tactfully as I could that yes, we were all going to die someday but it would be a long time from now.
