Power Plant

by stewart

Religion is like an old power plant that has fallen into disuse.  During its time, the building served to fill the countryside with energy and light.  Now its doors are closed, the windows broken and the machinery still. It is a time, when many work and travel about in the darkness.

Periodically an engineer arrives to restore the structure; having the expertise to direct workers and update the building to today’s specifications. Then the turbines start anew creating energy for thousands of homes; and all the world benefits from a new age of Light. –SB
