Opposites

by stewart

The sparrows play and flutter about in the dirt.

Flapping their wings

They cleanse themselves with the soil.

If we did this

We would become dirty.

Requiring water to accomplish

The very same task,

We wonder how cleansing is possible?

Yet the same objective

May be reached by different means;

Sometimes, they appear as opposites.

And in some countries, where water is scarce, i understand there is a way of a human bathing with sand – can’t imagine how it works or doing it myself. Yet it works for some people.
It is my conjecture that what consenting adults do that makes their life and their soul work better for them, is their business – and good in it’s ultimate accomplishment of making their experience better. (as long as it harms NONE!)
Even if it’s something i could never dream of doing! j/L “Granny” Matrika / Rolling Buffalo Woman

Maybe we are missing something here? Perhaps, we should suggest to a Company like “Dove” or “Dial” to come up with a sand soap. This would save money on hot water bills and can be recycled in cat liter boxes, plants, and sand boxes. Just a thought . . .
