In This Cell

by stewart

In this cell, I sit day after day.
It is not the cell of cloistered monk
or political prisoner. Far from that.
It is the world of repetitious living.

Sadly- I am the jailer
who has forgotten the key.
Frightened, I will get familiar with the darkness
and no longer seek the Light.
